I have been a psoriasis suffer for most of my life. This past week, I got a cold, and then the a couple of days later I woke in the middle of the night, with a 103.5 fever, beat red, like a sunburn, and my hands, feet, and ankles swollen. Whammo I was told I have psoriatic arthritis, and blood work has confirmed it.
Wondering if anyone else on the board, may have it. Trying to learn about treatments....etc. I have been referred to Yale New Haven hospitals rheaumatology department, but there appointments are usually several weeks out. In the mean time, my doctor has prescribed a course of anti inflammatories, to help ease the pain, and discomfort. I am scared, as I work on my feet. TIA Donna
