I know that in the grand scheme of things this is petty, but let me just get it out so I can let it go. I watch (and especially this time of year) bid on auctions on RS. When I see that auctions are cancelled because there are no bidders, I can understand that. My pet peeve is when folks have an auction, get several bidders and then still cancel. Honestly it bugs me to the point where I just avoid their auctions in the future. I understand wanting to make as much money as possible (and not letting things go too cheaply) and it doesn't bother me if an auction is extended rather than cancelled. It's just the giving up that gets to me. It feels like a waste of my time. And I know that people put terms on auctions such as "may be cancelled" but again as a bidder I do not expect that something with multiple bids would be.

I've had a few auctions on RS (one I just cancelled last week because there were no bids and I was worried about shipping it), so I do see the sellers side to this, but as a buyer it just bugs me!

Okay, thank you for letting me rant. Does this bother anyone else too?
