I was in the hospital for 4 days right before Thanksgiving, just some hideous pain I couldn't take. It was a good thing, all the tests that my insurance company was rejecting, they had to end up doing. I have had sooo many tests done now, 2 of those shots in the back (OMG, forgetting the name) and 2 MUA's. They want to do another shot in about 10 days, they worked great for me for like 2 days, they said just like the shots I have gotten in my knees, sometimes it takes a while to kick in. They did a white blood count study, my white count is up a little high but nothing settling in the spine so not worried about that. I had to see my cardiologist because I had some chest pains. Stress related, LOL, do you think? Anyway, he is a partner of my main Dr. and my gastro guy so he has access to all my records and he said that every single one of my tests show slight abnormalities, nothing major but in the liver and colon as well. Pain management Dr. says I can probably go back to work after the New Year. Believe this, I still have yet to file the disability papers. No one knew exactly or I was not making myself clear which is probably the case. I thought my Dr. put them in and he said no, my boss and I got around to asking him and he checked it out after thinking the Dr. did it and said I have to go to Social Security which makes NO sense to me. My sister works for the state and was out a year ago with back surgery so I guess I better ask her, LOL.
My Dad sent me some $, I didn't want to take it but he said he has nothing else to spend it on and sister Pat called me and said I would be doing him a favor and she and my other sisters and my brother would all feel better if I did so I did let him cover some bills. DH is working but I was the bigger earner of the 2 of us. I am a huge planner having learned thru the years on this site so almost all of my Christmas shopping was DONE a long, long time ago. I have to say I am actually enjoying this holiday watching all of the Christmas movies that I soo adore. The grocery store is so very expensive and it makes me so grateful that I work in a restaurant and don't normally have to do a lot of food shopping, OUCH, how do you all do it?
I have about 35 pairs of mittens that I will be donating this week to 1 of the churches in town that does a back pack program every week-end. I called the food bank for the county to see how I could donate these and she hooked me up with the church and said they had donations to make up for what I didn't have. OMG, they need 72 pairs. I was stunned. Teener, you know my town would you think there was homeless here? I learned that there is and will see what I can doater on. Michael's is getting annoyed with me and my 40% off coupons that you can use 1 per day, LOL. Yeah, I go in and out a few times, that way I can afford the yarn for my mittens!! Where there is a will there is a way!

Miss Rebekka, I know you will probably read this my dear friend and I have a favor from you. I know you and Cheyenne like Christmas movies and old ones like I do, I am looking for "Ebbie" the Christmas Carol based movie with Susan Lucci. I don't know why it is my favorite but I love it, have not seen that one yet and if you see it and can copy for me i will happily pay you for it, girlfriend.

my brain is finally working and it is a shot of steroids, it happens a few times a day, I can just feel the heat starting from my neck up and my face gets scarlet. It does not hurt but it is uncomfortable.
