offered to prescribe me some medicine...but I HATE pouring meds in my body....

Right now, I push myself to the limit and would love some relief from the pain I feel....

Thankfully, I can still do much of the stuff I love, but at times I'm just in so much pain.....

Does anyone here have this and do you take medicine for it? If so, are there side affects? Do you feel it has helped you?

I'm 35, work full time and exercise, any kind of personal experience is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance. 1|1|I've had this for years...more inside|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|19:04:18|12/10/2011|

Hi Kelly,
Fibro can be so very painful, and it effects people differently, I know alot of people with fibro and some of them take prescription meds and say it helps..I myself have no insurance, so I just deal with the pain, sometimes I do take motrin though...It seems as the years pass, the pain can become more intense and where it affects the body...Even my fingers hurt at times so bad, I have to sit and massage them...I've heard diet and exercise will help, and some people take natural remedies too..I do take an olive leaf capsule daily, but right now haven't taken any, cause I'm on antibiodics and can't remember if I can take both together...The olive leaf does help somewhat too...It's crazy but when I was pregnant, it was like my fibro was in remission, I told he drs. I can stay pregnant forever..LOL...I did notice that when we lived in AZ it had subsided once we moved to a higher elevation, I know it sounds strange...Not to sound nasty or anything, but when I would have a bowel movement, the pain was so bad in my legs and it would flare my fibro so bad, my mom couldn't believe it was that bad, but once she came to visit us in Queen Creek, AZ she saw first hand and was shocked how much pain I was in..Well when we moved about 40 miles or so north of Phoenix, the elevation was higher and the pain with the bowel movements subsided, I don't know if altitude plays a part or not, it's just very frustrating to figure out what is best and what works, cause I know others that live in high elevation and it really bothers them, so everyone is different..I know that swimming does help or sitting in a warm tub...I'm sorry for rambling, I'm just typing things as I remember them, I truly hope that you can find out what suits you best...Hugs, Rebekka

as for the Olive Leaf, I take one capsule a day, it also helps your immune system, I usually get sick every winter, but when I take olive leaf, I don't get sick at all (colds/flu)...The one I take is made by Oregon's Wild Harvest, it's called Olive Leaf and has 90 capsules, they are non-GMO vegetarian capsules. I believe Oregon Wild Harvest has a website too, I get mine at a local little place here that sells herbs and organic stuff. I will be praying for you girlie..Hugs, Rebekka
