What a shock it was to all in KC this morning when we turned on Channel 4's early show to find out that meteorologist Don Harman had died. We didn't actually find that out from the news. They just made a statement that they knew everyone had questions but family came first so bear with them for a bit. Of course I went to the internet to see what had happened. I found out he died and the UNOFFICIAL reason is suicide. It was very ironic that the early show had a segment on depression sometimes being worse this time of year. I don't know if that was a planned segment or if it was because of what happened to Don Harman.
I loved turning on the early show and watching him. He was always laughing and cutting up and I just loved that ~ he will be missed by all.
Prayers, please, for his family (he had a wife and a young daughter) and friends!

It is always heartbreaking when someone w/depression opts to end their life because altho there is no quick, easy fix, depression IS treatable.
