i started today yeah i know the holidays and all lol but i think i can do it and its the only diet that has actually worked for me anyways i was just wondering if anyone else was low carbing

Iv been trying to get back on counting carbs myself. I dont know if this is the same diet you r trying but its the only one that has ever worked for me and iv tried so many. I went to a health clinic a few years ago. They put me on it. I lost 40 pounds in 5 months and it wasnt too hard. I then went to Vegas and the diet was history after that:-

Heres what i did: Limit my good carbs to 120 grams a day. No whites like sugar, flours, rice and potatoes. I ate 5 times a day, only allowing 10 carbs after dinner. I drank 64oz of water a day. I got in at least 5,000 steps a day using a pedometer and i danced or jogged in place at least 20 minutes a day. I had to write everything i ate and drank down in a journal for them to see.

On this diet i never seemed too hungry or deprived and haf more energy and even was able to go off my bp meds.

ok yrs ago i did lc but i didnt it my way i would eat 100 carbs a day no sugar bread pasta etc etc just like you i ate when i wanted no matter if it was 12 times a day lol BUT I cut the food out at 8pm!! nothing except crystal light after 8pm i also added exercise but didnt right away i had to adjust to the diet for a month or so i lost 70 pounds!! so im going to do it again and this time try to stick with it for life!!

I thnk its when a person stops caring about themselves is when they quit. Its really not a hard diet. Its just learning to adapt and keeping a level head. I know u can do it. Im going to try also if not for my health, but because i want a better quality of life before its too late.

d- philly cheese steak minus the buns of course
i have already had 64 oz of crystal light! and a 12 oz coffee for me drinking a LOT of water is what helped me before now if i could just find some awesome toliet paper cpns haha haha haha

My husband. He doesnt want me to lose weight and knows my weaknesses. My dr once told me that i should diet in secret but my huband gets mad or sulky if i wont eat. Hes a great manipulator. Its very hard if your husband tries to work against you instead of encourage you. Iv already messed up for today. My husband brought me home a breakfast burito and hash browns when he went to get dog food. He knows the dr has told me to lose wt for health reasons but he rather me b fat then to look good and feel good about myself let alone, alive. I know it sounds like im using ny husb as an excuse but he just makes it harder for me is all. I love to eat and use it to treat myself. Alk i can do is try again and stay one step ahead of any temtations. I have always been a size large even as a child. The only time i was thin in my life was when i had cancer so i cant atribute that to dieting.

when i got married i was roughly the same size i am now a 28w dh loves me fat lol he doesnt care that i diet but he doesnt do without his donut holes or candy bars etc and he never fails to offer me one either :( the hardest part is when we eat out if i try to get out of eatting he gets angry because we never hardly eat out he sees it as a treat and i see it as cheating on my diet lol last time when he knew i was serious he did straighten up a bit and if anyone needs to lose for health reasons its me :( email me maybe we can help each other...i have drank 96 ounces of crystal light and have another 32 oz chilling it will be gone before bed so far so good for now it 3:53 pm here i will eat my last meal right at 8 pm :) i have ate a lot today but it was all low carb so im doing ok im sorry u got sabotaged so early today i hate when that happens

I was told that a true carb count was after you subtract the fiber count so say a whole grain tortilla has 18grams and 4grams of fiber, the true carb count would be 14 not 18. Some people also let veggies be unlimited but i didnt. I counted then. Some veggies r high in carbs. They did try and push alot of celery and pumpkin down me cuz its low in carbs and high in fiber. And they told me to always have a protein with friut. Heres how i devided my carbs for the day:

30- breakfast
10- snack
30- lunch
32oz water drank
40- dinner
32oz water drank
10- snack

I lost 7 or 8 pounds the first week.

im not doing fruit yet this is my first detox day so im all veggie meat cheese diet after a week or so ill add in some berries or ;c peaches or pears they are yummy!! im dying to make my fave jalepeno wrappers but i cant find the jalepeno's fresh and at a good price i take the peppers spilt them length wise and hull the seeds etc and fill with cream cheese wrap in half a slice of bacon and back until the bacon is crispy and done OHHH man this are so good is like spicy food and cream cheese lol

It really works, like nothing else. It also helped lifted depression, fatigue, cleared up skin problems and made my hair very shiny. Here is what I did:

Carbs under 20 a day, most days no more than 10
Lots of eggs, cheap and I lost the most when I age them, go figure.
Upped the fat intake with coconut oil, extra butter and heavy cream in my coffee.
Ultra low carb, moderate protein and super high fat is when I lost the most. Fat intake is best at around 70 percent of total diet.
Lots of salads with full fat dressings and low carb veggies, loved the spinach cold or hot too.
No fruit at all, when I complained to my cardiologist that I would like a peach he said "too bad". lol He is a huge fan of low carbing and wish his heart patients would all do it.

high fat, low carb diet. Question, did you go back to eating fruit after 2 weeks? I know eating berries is one of the best fruits we should be eating because of it's high anti-oxidant properties (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.), and occasionally cantaloupe, peaches & apples w/peanut butter. I do eat nuts & seeds too which keeps my hunger pangs at bay until next meal! I also drink tons of fresh brewed iced tea all day using stevia/xylitol sweetener. No fruit after two weeks for me, when I did lose a substantial amount of weight I had a few blueberries or strawberries here and there. I eat mostly protein, as much low carb veggies as I want, and then just a certain amount of healthy carbs, and health fats. I try to do four meals a day, and no carbs for my last meal, nothing at all after 8
