I just found out last evening..talking to company rep..that Aldi's "Beaumont" brand pie shells are really Wick's pie shells! Wick's is a company here in Indiana that makes wonderful sugar cream & pecan pies as well as pie shells and a few other things. Small company but been around for like 60 years or so and GREAT products! This is seasonal so if you need premade pie shells (like me..mine homemade you can pave a road with! LOL!) run to Aldi's and stock up on these while you can! Said they got the contract this year after working VERY hard for it, but previously they wanted PetRitz. Sooo..yet another 'name' brand item MUCH cheaper under a 'generic' item label. :) Not much time left...think first part of December or so they are gone from Aldi's again till next holiday season.
