Cooper went back to Chapel Hill for a checkup yesterday and he has been having some problems so this is the what has been decided now--This is what my daughter Shelley posted on her FB page after they got back:
Hey everyone! We are back home from Coop's appt and it was bittersweet. We got good news and bad, and it is so hard to explain. We tried him off of his steroids for 2months and even though we have still continued to keep certain things out of his diet, his reflux returned to the point where it somtimes makes him vomit. So the Dr's are trying hard to come up with a new plan b/c Cooper is sensitive to so many foods that they can not pin point the culpret and you can not take away everything he eats. On the positive, if they let dairy back into his diet that means that we can feed him pediasure through his feeding tube instead of Elecare which is extremely exspensive. So that is our positive.. and lastly Cooper has a good chance of being sent to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital for further evaluation. Here's hoping that if that is the case that he can hold off until the summer and not have to miss so much school. Thanks again for all the prayers, God can heal and he hears all your prayers asking for Coop to be healed. I'm so sorry to hear that he is having so much trouble, I pray the doctors have the wisdom and means to help him. I also pray that God comforts you all and gives you peace and for healing.
