There's a couple of big phone companies that are really getting to be annoying, paying people to dump off these big, thick phone books, & I swear it's at least every couple of months. Then, they hound you on the dang phone after the dump, to confirm you received them. :(
It's not even our phone co. here that's doing it but a couple of bigger companies like CenturyTel & Verizon - I think they call it the "Yellow Books". If it was once a year it wouldn't be so bad but it's not, & there are usually 2 types of phone books, & they're both big honkers too boot! Normally, they toss them on your front steps or something but now the jerky delivery people are getting lazy & dumping them off at the ends of driveways. :(
I fixed them this morning tho. Today was trash collection & a little while after I'd taken out the trash, I noticed this funky white bag sitting across the end of my driveway from the trash bag. I thought at 1st it was someone's trash that had blown around. Went down to take a look & seen it was those crappy phone books again. So.... I picked it up & set it on top of my trash bag. When the trash truck came thru, those blasted phone books went in the back of the truck w/the rest of the garbage. Made my day! LOLOL
