Well, its come time to put my little fur baby to rest tomarrow. He has congestive heart failure and has been on meds for about 6 months. The
medicine does nothing for him any more. He is so uncomfortable, coughing constantly and spitting up his water. I am so sad tonight. My husband is
going to take him tomarrow, I just can't do it.

My husband took him and stayed with him. Even at the last minute I couldn't stay there. I didn't want to have that last memory of him like that.

I'm so sorry about your fur baby. I had to be the one to take our dog years ago and my heart still aches and feels guilty even though I know he's at peace and out of pain.
I tell people I have 2 legged and 4 legged kids.
You've given that pet a chance and a loving home.

My prayers are w/you & your family as you go thru this difficult time of the loss of your 4-legged loved one. I know how much it must tear at your heart but you did a very unselfish thing by allowing him to go & be peaceful again.

Just got back from ER with my oldest daughter. She had an asthma attack. She's been sick with a cold and that usually is her trigger. Tonight
she just started coughing and then it went into asthma attack.
They gave her a breathing treatment and some steriods and she's back home.

It's just like losing a child isn't it? Our shih tzu is 12 and getting older each day. He has to be lifted up onto his bed ~ no more jumping for him. I dread the day when I have to go through what you are going through. Prayers for you and for your fur baby who is waiting to see you once again!!
