7 0|0|Need help finding an obituary...|ptmama525|ptmama525@aol.com|20:00:57|11/11/2011|
I met an online friend on facebook (playing mafia wars) and although I quit playing we still chatted occasionally. I noticed he hadn't been on since Oct 23...and he was a 71 year old retired man that lived on facebook...so I tried contacting him via email/phone with no luck, so I started messaging people from his friends list that lived in the general area as him to see if they could find out anything about him....well today I found out he passed away 2 weeks ago. I had checked legacy.com and could never find any obituary. I would still like to find an obituary, any suggestions on where to look?
His name is John Chirico and lived in Providence, Rhode Island...to my knowledge he had no family...it is sad to think that he had no one...ok, enough rambling...can anyone steer me in the right direction?

If your friends facebook account is still active, perhaps try and contact some people on his friends list or someone who posted on his wall prior to his passing. Did you try to look up the local paper from his town online?

great idea, if their local paper has a website the obit is probably there 3|1|I tried searching......|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|20:32:59|11/11/2011|
W/the name & city/state you gave, I tried searching but no luck. :( If he didn't have any family, I'm afraid it's possible there may not be an obit notice in the paper, if that could've been his preference. Alot of funeral homes nowadays tho post obits on their website so I would think if there is one, his name would come up w/the funeral home's website. But again, that's if he didn't prefer otherwise.
Hope you find him.

Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username. Due to recent problem trades, if I haven't traded w/you before, I will probably require you send your end 1st or I'll need LEGIT trade references/feedback. I will be happy to provide the same. IF you plan to hold your end til you've received mine, I will need to know that IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE trade is finalized.

"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." 7|1|From my personal experience, there is often a charge for an obit by the newspaper. Most will print a death notice for free, but not the obit. If he has no family, there may have been no one who would take that responsibility|suezz|clearys@comcast.net|10:37:42|11/12/2011|
