I really hate bothering everybody but my family is in crisis. We recently moved and the expenses of that were almost more than we can bear. Plus the stress of it all has left my husband and myself in such a sorry state of health it isn't funny. I haven't slept more than 2 hours a night for literally months now and I've lost 60 pounds - have absolutely nothing that fits me (not even a bra!) And poor Keith who has leukemia and diabetes has been so sick. He had shingles last year and has lingering severe pain from them around his chest. But he refuses to make the time to see a Dr. Then there's Kevin, our 9 year old grandson who we're raising who never asks for anything much but needs so much. It breaks my heart for him to be teased in school for being the "poor" boy. I can't even go there or I'll start bawling and never stop. Even our 12 year old dog is sick and stressed and we can't afford to take him to the vet. All in all this looks to be a pretty crummy holiday season. And my worst fear is of me ending up in the hospital again because then who will take care of Kevin?? Prayers would be So appreciated.

Kevin wears a 14/16 shirt; size L jogging pants (he's too short for jeans) Size 14 Hoodie/Jacket, etc. He always needs white crew socks and low-cut socks - wears a size 6 shoe. And slippers!!!! This old house is sooo cold and drafty! New PJ's too. He owns 1 decent pair of pj's and couldn't participate in PJ Day at school or Hat Day either. And he loves Pokemon cards and Redakai cards and would love a used WWE magazine to look through. He has a Christmas list but those are his manin needs right now and just a couple of his wants. Oh and he needs a new plastic pencil sharpener - we have some pencils here but no sharpener for him to do his homework!!!! He gets straight A's and is such a good kid but a lonely kid. He would probably love just receiving some Christmas cards from some of you ladies. I can picture him hanging them on his wall :) He needs more than I can give him right now. So I truly appreciate your generosity. With all my heart.

My son helps his grandparents. They live next door. Not in the best heath. So a few weeks ago grandma bought him a new comforter and pillow sham...comforter was reg $60 and sham was reg $35. They were both on clearance at jpc. She had a $10/$25 coupons. So she paid less then $15 for them both. So he was able to get the new lime green comforter he wanted for helping grandma. So he wants to send Kevin his dragon bedding. It is still in great shape.
New battery operated toothbrush...(free at riteaid with coupons and upc)
And what every else we can send. Get alot of items free with coupons and
ups at riteaid. Never pay for health and beauty items.
He went through his room to try to help Kevin. Was sad that the kids tease him.
My son is a little over weight. He gets teased sometime. So he knows what it is like.
We just need help with shipping. The box will be big and heavy. I am
sure shipping will be $15 or so. So if anyone can help with shipping
that would be great.

Your prayers, along with the others, are so appreciated. If I could only get some SLEEP, I would be better equipped to handle our financial and other problems. But I can feel my body breaking down from stress and lack of sleep and nothing helps. Does anybody have any "sleep advice"? I have Sjogren's Syndrome also and the dry mouth and constant dry eyes have been bothering me horribly lately so I'm sure that may be part of my night-time problem. Between Keith & myself, we're a walking medical encyclopedia. He worries about me and I worry about him and we both worry about Kevin.
One last thing I'd like to say is, both of our sets of parents are passed away and no relatives to speak of living close by, so Kevin REALLY needed to be adopted in more ways than one. He craves love and I'm so thankful he found it on this board. God Bless each and every one of you. We may not have a big tree or a real tree or even any tree at all! But Kevin IS going to have a Christmas and a stocking to hang up this year!!! YEAH!!!!

I think I posted that I need some new bras desperately now that I've lost so much weight but I can't picture anybody going bra-shopping for me somehow! Honestly I could some new pj's and soft fuzzy socks to wear to bed. And Keith's clothes are just hanging on him too, ready to fall off because he's lost weight too. Kevin got all A's on his report card and 1 B in Science but it was a high B!!! We are so proud of him. Even with all the problems at school he still managed to keep his grades up. Also, a little boy called from his class today and invited him over to his house to play for awhile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See, I knew those new shirts would give him some self-confidence and they're working already!! Thank you again Keegan, and thank all of you for all your prayers and good wishes. :)
