I've tried many brands and I seem to like Clairol Nice N Easy myself (But NOT one for gray hair), it's the one I go back to time after time.

I'm sure everyone likes different brands and everyones hair is different so I'd love to read the other peoples brand opinions too.

2|2|I go by sale and coupons -- Nice and easy is good as is L'Oreal Preference and Excellence. If you can get the John Freida Foam for free---mentioned here , that is good too|suezz|clearys@comcast.net|16:57:49|10/26/2011|

Thanks 3|3|My go-to is LOreal Preference...if you are medium brown naturally, and just want to cover the greys, use the pics on the box when choosing a shade! And avoid shades with the word "ash" in it...stick with "golden", like I use Medium Golden Brown to stick to close to my own hair color....I find it covers greys really well as long as you follow the directions! :) I also like the Perfect 10 formula from LOreal.....takes less time to process and works just as well, but costs a bit more.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|17:02:40|10/26/2011|

6|2|It will if you get it all over and dont wipe it off, lol.....what I do is put a very thin layer of petroleum jelly like Vaseline along my hairline at my forehead, over and around my ears, and the hair line at my neck....then keep some tissues with dabs of shampoo handy to wipe away any drips as the happen....that should take care of it :) Apply evenly to your hair, reapply to areas that are heavy with grey (for me it is my temples and at the top of my crown).....keep the sections small, no wider than 1 inch at a time as you apply.
