13 0|0|Have a kinda icky question....how do you dispose of 'live/sticky' mouse traps? :S|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:49:40|10/18/2011|

It's that time of year when they are cutting down the corn and soybeans, so we always get a few mice....mostly in the garage, but occassionally in the basement....I have one mouse that is too smart for the snap traps, he is eating the peanut butter clean off and not tripping the spring.....I may have to resort to 'live'/sticky traps because of the stockpiles I have down there (finished basement, but mostly in closets, not bins).....

I dont know what to do when I find a live mouse stuck on the trap.....help! :S

That's what I did once when my husband wasnt here He just took it out and disposed it for me
Probably in trash container wrap up several times YUCK! 2|2|My DH said he'll take care of them (I dont mind dealing with the snap traps when it's got a dead mouse in it), but what do you do with them???? Do you scoop it up with a shovel? How do you pick it up with out the mouse going crazy and trying to bite you? :O|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:56:00|10/18/2011|

They nibbled the non-sticky ends of the mouse tape and made a mosaic along the sticky part so that they could run across it without sticking. I admit to being duly impressed by those mice....ROFL. She wouldn't put another sticky trap down with a video camera for us though.....I thought it'd be funny to watch them working on it.

The only time I caught a live mouse in the house---before I was married, I admit to calling my father cuz I just couldn't kill it. Good luck! 7|2|Wow, I thought the mouse here must be pretty smart to get the bait without getting caught! That is scary smart! LOL! |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|06:20:26|10/20/2011|

8|1|I did get the last mouse the other night after I posted! He finally met a trap he couldnt outsmart....that, or he was getting cocky, LOL! Checked all my traps since then and no more nibbles at the peanut butter, so I am pretty sure we caught the last one...Lance has been looking everywhere to find where they got in, but we are thinking it must be under our front porch as he found nothing anywhere else....sigh.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|06:22:05|10/20/2011|
