Karo syrup, or any type of clear corn syrup, is a powerful cleaning agent in itself. When dabbed onto grass stains on clothing, it helps to lift the stain. Use it as a pre-treater before laundering, and the stain is almost certain to be diminished. Gently rub the Karo syrup onto the stain, working it into the fabric. Let sit for five minutes, then launder according to clothing instructions
