1|1|Yes, you can cook the scrambled egg squares or 'patties' and freeze them.....what I do when I make quantities of breakfast sandwiches for the boys.....inside :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|11:40:07|10/10/2011|

Prepare the eggs like you would to be scrambled (eggs, milk or water, salt and pepper), then pour raw egg mixture into a 13x9 pan sprayed well with nonstick spray....bake at 400 degrees until set and lightly golden....let cool, then cut into squares. Place squares on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper, then flash freeze for about an hour or so til firm. Then you can put them in ziplock freezer bags to take out as needed.
To use for a sandwich, just microwave for about a minute, flip over and microwave for another 20-30 seconds. :)

Sometimes I add finely diced ham, crumbled sausage, sauteed onions or green peppers (finely diced) to the raw egg mixture before baking :)

My husband enjoys the Jimmy Dean sandwiches for a quickie breakfast at work. Doing it this way will save a bundle. Those Jimmy Dean Sandwiches are 4.98 for 4 at Walmart.

I really like the Bacon Bit tip, too. Thank you both for this great idea.

13|5|Yes, my boys could eat these almost every morning....so every couple weeks I make the eggs, bake some biscuits and assemble the sandwiches...I add a slice of cheese on them, then freeze as whole sandwiches wrapped in wax paper and plastic wrap....they nuke the whole sandwich for one minute on each side....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|13:58:39|10/10/2011|

8|1|Use those "real" baconbits that way you don't have to cook the bacon|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|13:32:22|10/10/2011|
