My son will be 17 this January and we've had some rocky months......thinking of just taking the two of us to Disney this January to celebrate his 17th bday......sometimes he talks about the days when it was just he and I in our old apartment...so I thought it would be nice to do something special just like back in the old days.......he's growing up so fast........
I already feel guilty about not bringing Olivia.....but she's been three times and I'll bring her by herself when she's older....I just feel like I need to do something just for my son, you know????
Any money saving deals, packages, advice would be great...
Oh, only thinking on going for three days......and I would like to leave out of green airport in Providence and land in Orlando....I don't want to rent a car so prefer a hotel on site.....

Also, when you book, you'll want to book your dining... as in asap. If you can't get what you want, keep calling in between because you can change your dining at any time. We got Fantasmic in Georgia... as in we were on the cell phone the day we were set to arrive calling to see if someone else ditched their reservation.
Tell them it's his birthday. Birthdays are celebrated and generally mean that they bring you out a cupcake. My son got a pin too and every park employee that saw it told him happy birthday.
We had a great experience with booking through AAA. It doesn't hurt to price out plans and see what they can do for you. We put a deposit down and didn't pay it off until about a month before our trip. We had the money, just we rathered that we earned the interest on that money ;)
