Bad news here my husband has 3 cavitys and one abscess in his mouth all on the right side that is where he had chemo and radiation and the Dr said before be careful for if you ever get a cavity it will now heal That is why he didn't feel anything in his mouth for the chemo killed it
He might have to get 15 treatments in his mouth radition or chemo again after they drain the abscess and cavity's will find out this week waiting for a call

I had my dentist check it out, the nurse practioner and my cancer Dr and they wanted me to right to Roswell and have a specialist look at it. Well two of them looked, and used 2 different machines they give off a blue light in the dark and they did turn off all the lights to do this. They took a sample to have a biopsy done on them. And they said there was no sign of cancer or that they would ever turn into cancer. Seems that 9 out of 10 patients who have had chemo tend to get these in their mouths. They come and go since I've had the tests done. So I guess this is what I will have to live with. Did the Doctors do any tests like that to make sure of why he has the sores in his mouth? It could be like mine.
But either way, prayers are going out for you both. God Bless you both. Hope all turns out well.
