We get over a hundred kids here, and last year I found 1/2 price Playdoh minis on clearance after Halloween. Just right for stashing away for this year's event. Bigger kids will get something else: any suggestions other than the usual chocolate etc. One year I gave out small individual packs of pretzels, and they were a HUGE hit! Looking forward to hearing what you all do!

a neighbor moved to another street and they bring their kids back so a total of about 10 kids. There were years that we didn't get any kids at all, so I never had to buy any candy, and I get off cheap. My Son lives in an area that they have beggars night and they get probably close to or just over 300 kids as kids come by car loads from all over and they can go out on halloween night. My son must spend at least $70-80.00 worth of candy and she has it all in one humungus pot and would you believe they run out so lights go off.

they bus them in from other areas to trick or treat in our neighborhood and one other neighborhood in town. Our first Halloween we bought a bunch of bags of candy... and I ran out 3 times to get more! We easily go through probably 12 bags of candy at least! And we usually spend half the time trick or treating with our own kids!
