She's having it on her left eye tomorrow morning & will then have surgery on her right eye next month.
I'd be thankful for some prayers &/or positive vibes that all goes well for her tomorrow.
I know it's supposed to be a pretty easy & short surgery (they said 10-15 minutes max), but I think I'm more nervous about her having it than she is. LOL They said that altho the surgery itself is simple & short, it's the prep & post-op recovery that takes so long. I can handle that as long as everything goes ok w/the surgery.....
Could also really use some prayers for one of my offline, childhood best friends. She had surgery yesterday as she had a mass on her ovary & it's malignant. :( I'll find out more tomorrow, as far as if they were able to remove all of it &/or of she'll also have to have post-op treatment. Hopefully, it's confined to just that 1 mass so no others anywhere else.
Seems I've been asking for alot of prayers lately, but to be honest, things just haven't been going quite so smoothly around here lately.

Sounds like you worry like me Tami. Your mom is going to be FINE! MIL just had her second eye done and she is 85! Rick had both done a few years back and all turned out superb!
As for your friend, I pray she is going to be ok. Typical thing to worry about when it comes to ovary masses. Very scary.... I pray she will pull thru without complications..

My mom came thru the cataract surgery just fine. Kind of a long morning tho as the dr. got delayed due to having to take a detour on another route on his way cuz of a car accident. It was really foggy here this morning so we've all been hoping & praying for the people in the accident that they're ok.
But, my mom is home & is doing good, her eye already open right after surgery. :) She didn't feel very well for a little bit right afterwards but that was likely from lack of anything to eat or drink since last night. The nurse brought her coffee & an apple/cinnamon muffin right away & that helped. She wanted another muffin & more coffee so that was a good sign. LOL I think the worst of it all for her is that she can't wear her glasses til after her post-op check up tomorrow morning cuz they won't stay on over the protective eye patch she has to wear til then.
We were both glad to finally get back home & take a nap. LOL I've checked on her twice since & she's doing great & can see pretty good thru that eye already, but she didn't want me to stay. LOL
I haven't heard yet how my friend is doing so if I don't hear by noon tomorrow, I'll be calling to find out.
