I am invited to a baby shower. Inside the invitation was a slip of paper asking me to bring a picture of myself...one with the mother-to-be would be best (I do not have one). Anyway...with the picture they are going to create an
advice book for the mother-to-be. So, I need to decide what I want to put on my advice note card. I am
looking for something different...hopefully advice no one else will think of. Any suggestions or ideas???

Thank You

baby needs a schedule kinda, not set in stone but certain times for naps and get them use to eating every 3 or 4 hours, its so easy to let them nap or eat whenever but once they get on a routine it gives you some time to rest and thats important.Linda 2|1|my advice|gwens29|gwen41539@bellsouth.net|18:07:50|09/23/2011|

also good ideal to take first pictures under the clock so you will always know about what time the baby was born Linda 4|1|Pacifier advice....|Quietwaters|Quietwaters39@hotmail.com|19:17:29|09/23/2011|

My first sucked her thumb, big issue, hard to take away, so the rest got a pacifier. As soon as baby falls asleep while sucking a pacifier, pull it gently out of their mouth, so they do not get used to having it in all the time while sleeping. Otherwise evertime it falls out they wake up and you have to put it back in. Also, wean them very early from needing it, much easier to do it before they become addicted, then if you wait until they are old enough to walk around with it.

The time goes by so fast.

I'm just kidding! It's actually try to look for the humor in some of the endless, mind numbing, soul crushing, spirit tiring tasks that will never end. Just try to get all of the dishes all clean at once and see what happens? That's right, the family will dirty new ones. Forget about ever getting caught up on laundry as well, because there is no such thing as "caught up". It doesn't exist once you have kids.

Tell her to take a good long look at how clean her carpet is too so she can look back on it fondly like an old vacation.

I love my family, but they seriously wear me out. Even still I wouldn't trade them for anything. I guess that's love. Or insanity?
