And not while goofing around either. I was at the playground with him yesterday and then he went to a friends with his sister for 1 hour and came home limping! xrays showed a fracture! hes in a splint and on crutches until the pediatric orthopedic surgeon can see him....they said hopefully within 24 hours! geez.... Its always something!

My son broke his collar bone but he was only laid up for about 5 weeks. He's all better now.
Hopefully your son will heal without much trouble!

I can't believe they wait that long on a break. They said that the splint works for 5 - 7 days. Thursday will be his 4th day with the splint, 5th day with the break! So hopefully he'll be ok... not sure how bad the break is yet. I've been reading that this is a tough break that if not healed probably can cause problems for him. So I hope all goes well.
He hates being stuck in one position all day and the crutches are killing his underarms right now. Anyone know of any tricks to help his arm pits?
