Well Amanda..travis's ex..had her baby today. a baby boy she named lukas preston. She was
supposed to have a c section next tuesday. BUT....
I had amanda over last night...we ate supper, watched tv..and just talked. we had a really
good visit..lots of laughs a really good visit...on the way home...Haley says, with
as much as you fed amanda and your driving..she's going to have this baby tonight..AND
well she went to the hospital 5 hours later..and had lukas at 2 am. He's doing good,
amanda is too..AND ME...not so good...I really want a grandbaby..and it's just so upsetting
that they break up...and she's pregnant 2 months later. : ( she says she was upset a one
night thing...and that's it...she would love to get back with travis..but i don't think
that will work.. BUT I"m going to be good to her and care about her...you just can't bring
someone into my life..and just because they didn't work out..doesn't mean I don't care about her..
you know??>> I didn't think i would break down like i did...but when she called me...I took it
really hard...i was at the hospital in a heartbeat...i'll post pictures soon...he may not be my
"grandson"..but I love him just the same...I'm not sure what happens from here...I just know that
I had to be there for her when she needed someone. She's lived with her grandmal since she was 3
never knew her dad...she's partially blind...only 19..she's gone thru a lot...So keep them in your
prayers...we are hoping that all is ok with baby....they will be in the hospital till monday.
she was a high risk pregnancy..she has a few tumors in her head and 2 in her back...but hoping all
is ok with both of them.

Sometimes people are brought into our lifes and although they don't always end up taking the path we thought they would, they still end up on the right path. So, although she is not with Travis, she is blessed to have YOU in her life and so is her son. 3|1|I think it's wonderful that you are still in Amanda's life and even though you aren't blood to her new baby boy, I think it's wonderful that you love him anyways and I'm sure Amanda is happy to have you in her life. You have a heart of gold gf...My ex-inlaws and I get along great, in fact, they call my hubby their son, and they look to Cheyenne as she was their own granddaughter, we love them so much and they love us too. I am the same way with people, they touch my life and even if things don't work out with someone that doesn't make me care less about them, they are still loved and family to me. Amanda is very blessed to have you, such a warm hearted, open minded person...so many people are Not that way...you are remarkable!

I don't know how this will all work out...It's just so hard..travis puts her in our life..
then takes her out...then she gets pregnant...AND well I put her back in our life...we will
just take it day to day..and I will help when I can. I just wish it was travis's...BUT it just
wasn't meant to be. BUT the important thing is...Lukas is here...he will be loved..AND if needed
I will be here...and I'm making sure amanda knows that I'm here for them..not just lukas.
Sandy...I keep remembering everything you said to me at kohls...Your talk with me really meant a lot.
WE have got to get together soon...I have some "yummy" things calling your name. : )

Everyone is right! You were put in their lives for a reason and they were put in yours for a reason. You do not have to be blood relatives to have a bond. I have no children of my own but am so close to several children that I am sure people think they are mine! God never makes a mistake! It just might be a path you did not know he had planned!
