overall, to buy your envelopes from a box store such as Office Depot. People who constantly buy small boxes of envies are wasting their money; especially if they use the envies on a regular basis.
Amazon sells 500-ct boxes of legal envies for $16.79, plus s/h. A 100-ct box will cost $4.99 plus s/h.
Office Depot sells 500-ct envies, Office Depot brand, for $8.29/box, plus s/h. A 100-ct store brand box of envies cost $3.79, plus s/h.
Walmart sells 500-ct boxes of legal envies for $11.27 plus s/h. A 50-ct box of envies will cost $5.27 plus s/h.
Dollar General sells cases of legal envies (@ 12-boxes of 40 per box) for $21.00...which provides 480 envies per case. Or, you can buy a 40-ct box of envies for $1.75 each.
Remember, you also get what you pay for, in most cases. Most ultra-cheap envies will either come unglued or be unglued at the seams or folds of the envelopes.

When Staples putd the Box of 500 on sale for $10

I use to get 500 at staples for $5 Now I think they are 500 for $9;95. Dollar tree is 50 for $1 . These are all legal size. On the smaller I think you can get like 100 for $1 some places.
