The social worker came and there were no findings, but she did recommend what I asked, that we get AU services to continue for 1 year instead of just 6 months, and truthfully, I was overwhlemed and this helped alot. I remember the bible verse where Paul escaped over the city wall and said that what someone intended for his harm worked out for his good, I felt the same way.
I think if there are 'no findings' the people from social work should go visit the 'reporters' and maybe the fake reporting would stop.
When you come to my house you see Dash's school work up on the walls, his schedule with the PECS, his projects, his toys, his classroom all set up, his books, legos (a GREAT help with OT), his computer, (using a computer forces him to read, I will NOT just tell him what words he is seeing anymore, he has to WANT to read, kwim?), his diet instructions, his allowable snacks cabinet, etc. etc. etc. If anything, he wants me offo his case, LOL.
At first I was intimidated but then I realized, it's not true, and if this person coming to my house has any sense at all she will see. She came once and told me, then came back and interviewed me, and never came back. No problem in the end. the baby came home.......social services showed up at her door...........she has 4 other kids......two older ones were in school.....the 5 yr old hadnt started yet and 3 yr old was there........they asked about her kids.......wanted to see the house.......everything was clean...but beds werent made....they went to school and talked to the 2 older......wanted to know if mom got angry...more often since the baby..ect....while at the house....they asked who slept in what room...ect.....asked where the baby would sleep....she showed the crib and bassinet.....the crib had all the new stuff..every had got for the baby.....she said....."You arent gonna leave that stuff in there with the baby are you?" now what an f---ing idiot...the bassinet had a larger blanket folded in it.......she again ..said you arent gonna leave that in there with the baby are you?
told my daughter.....we are only checking you all out because u have a baby in NICU........now i know better than that......
two of the others were in NICU and they didnt come.....anyway they told my daughter to have her husband call them....he did...and both went up to see them.......
they told them to call when baby came home and they would come back.....so far they havent..........

I'm glad you were able to turn it into something positive but it upsets me that someone would do that to you, of all people. You have a heart of gold & the patience of a saint, not to mention being a wonderful & devoted mom to Dashi.
From what you said in your other post, I wouldn't be suprised if it was your sil who called in the report. She doesn't sound like a very stable person, especially w/the kind of life she's providing for her own children, & she might be trying to deflect the negativity of her own situation away from herself & onto you, to try & make herself look better in the eyes of Soc. Services, etc. And she likely figures too that it would decrease your chances of being able to take care of her kids again should Soc. Services consider placing them w/you.

I'm not sure but I think people can make anonymous reports but I don't know if the anonymous reports hold much weight w/the authorities.
But I think when people call in unfounded reports just to be spiteful like that, they should have to reimburse Soc. Services or the authorities for the fees of the extra time & work that's been done to check out & follow up on the bogus complaints. It takes those workers away from the precious time & attention they would otherwise be spending on cases that are legit & the kids who really are being neglected, etc.
