9 0|0|HELP! I had a mole removed, now my leg is infected!|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|19:36:02|09/13/2011|

What's the best way to take care of this infection without having to make a doctors appointment! I'm putting on Neosporin, but it's not working! I've been cleaning it with anti-bacterial soap... but the redness around where they cut is HUGE now! It was a small mole that was kind of deep, it left a tiny crater in my leg! and my husband said it's red like 4 inches across and it hurts like made!

Any ideas?

I hope this heals up quickly for you 2|1|It's better safe than sorry - see a doctor. It sounds like you might need an antibiotic. You don't see streaks, do you? If you do, definitely see a doctor asap.|Sara_s_Mom|IClipCoupons@gmail.com|21:29:03|09/13/2011|

on my finger from a burn blister that broke open. Tough getting it healed with antibiotics. Since I am allergic to several I had to take a lower dose. My advice is to get an appt with MD as soon as possible and in meantime, clean it out with hydrogen peroxide several times a day. That's what I did since they couldn't give me much in the way of antibiotics. I had to use hydrogen peroxide, neosporin and soaking it in warm salt water.

with Peroxide, then put some neosporin on it and I'm going to see if it gets any better over night. If it's not better by tomorrow. I'm going to stop at the walk in clinic after work (this is my regular doctor, but not the skin doctor that did the work). I figured it will cost me $50 to see the skin doctor again and $25 to see my general practioner...

I have to go back in October to have another mole cut out and then I'll get stitches and bandages for those. These were just to do the biopsy. Can't believe I have to do this again! Lucikly only 1 of the 4 removed became a problem. 6|4|Hope all works out for you!:)|melpaul|Melpaul199@aol.com|10:12:39|09/14/2011|

:) 7|5|If the infection is a result of the mole removal, then I don't think you would agree to co-pay again.....the doctor who did it needs to insure the surgery is successful by treating the problem |suezz|clearys@comcast.net|11:57:50|09/14/2011|

clearing up infections. I've had skin infections and it works wonders, better than over the counter Neosporin. Good to have on hand too. HTH, Sharon:)
