Well Haley and I both made it thru her first concert.
Blink 182. I let her and her 2 friends go alone..
It was about 30 minutes from the house..they had a blast.
She is still so excited..talking really loud, and really fast...LOL
she keeps remembering something and yelling it and scarying me..
what was really funny...was they told the crowd to put on twitter
were they were...and haley wrote..Hi Mom..and they put it on the
tv screen above the stage and she took a picture of it...awww
she was thinking of me.. YEAH she should have as much as this concert
cost..the tickets..the two shirts..and everything else...LOL
But she's sooo sooo happy...and right now..she says I'm the best!!
I told her i want that in writing...SIGH...another big step for me
to let her do this...my baby is growing up..15 next month. SIGH

2|1|Aww, Shelly......my boys have gone to college football games out of town, concerts in Chicago, all kinds of stuff.....as long as there is at least three of them together, I really dont worry....and they have a GPS so they dont get lost! And my son won't go because we got lawn tickets and he says it is too crowded on the lawn and the weather is too unpredictible for him to want to do an outdoor concert. And next month DH and I are going to see Evanscence, one of his favorite bands, but it is general admission at this one small venue and he hates that, there are no seats and he says a concert is no fun if he has to stand all night. Who's the old one here? At 16 like him, I would have been in the front of the crowd, pushing my way through, but my 16 year old thinks it just too hard.

when we picked them up..she would not shut up...I've never seen her smiling so much...
she was so so happy...and I was so so happy that she was with me safe.. BUT had a great
time..I'll post some pictures soon....
She was so funny though..because at one point it started raining..and was afraid the
color in her hair would start dripping on her face..she kept asking her friends if her face
was red? and finally the one girl asked..why are you embarrassed? it was so funny..
they were just happy, giggling teenagers telling me the stories. I am so glad I gave in
and let her go with her friends.. awww my baby is growing up!!!

Morning Star
Even saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers the year before they opened for the Stones
When I was in college the student government always spent the discretionary budget on good bands
