I had one of the 10% off coupons for Lowes that are in the moving books at the post office.

When I tried to use it at Home Depot, they gave me such a hard time. Said they needed my "change of address" -- but they couldn't explain what they needed. Obviously, the change of address form you fill out for the post office STAYS at the post office - duh. I finally showed them my current driver's license with my old address on it and the copy of the realty listing for the new house (which I just happened to have in my purse) as well as some address labels that I had just had printed for the new house.

Nowhere on the coupon does it say it's for anything to do with "moving".

What a hassle :(
