Are you still employed but not contributing to your plan? If so, you will need to check your plan document to see if you are even able to take out an in-service distribution. Not all plans have that provision.

If you do take a check, the employer withholds 10% for Federal taxes, state taxes (if your state requires) and you will pay a 10% penalty if you are under 59-1/2.

4|1|Check into the "hardship" clause, or whatever it's called.....|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|07:04:34|08/30/2011|

You might want to talk w/a lawyer who's familiar w/IRA's, etc. or a CPA & find out if you'd qualify for the "hardship" clause where you wouldn't be penalized, or at least not by much. For an initial consult w/a lawyer or CPA, it may not cost you anything.
But I think you're also allowed to take out a monthly "stipend" but not sure if that has to do w/the "hardship" clause or not.

Smile... it makes people wonder what you're up to!

Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username. Due to recent problem trades, if I haven't traded w/you before, I will probably require you send your end 1st or I'll need LEGIT trade references/feedback. I will be happy to provide the same. IF you plan to hold your end til you've received mine, I will need to know that IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE trade is finalized.

If you're happy w/our trade, please leave feedback for me at:

I'll gladly do the same for you upon request.:)
