I've been looking at Dealfun.com

Anyone do this or another penny auction?

I would like more info, etc. Not sure which ones are good or the best ones.

I see you have to "buy" bids. So this is an upfront cost and you may never win...so then it's a loss or is there a strategy?

Any help suggestions or advise would be WONDERFUL.

Thanks,

I managed to do pretty well. But there are things you have to consider. On most sites, you have to figure out, when not to many people are bidding. That is usually between 3 and 5 am.

It took two months or more to get the things I won.

I mainly went after gift cards. Even on those they charged a 6.95 shipping and handling fee. Then the site would wait and ship all of them together, for ONE shipping fee. These were 50.00 cards that I paid under 5.00 for, so with the 6.95 shipping I was still making a great profit.

I also had a diffcult time getting customer service. Once I did, I could not get straight answers from them.

I tried two different sites, and then stopped all together. It was too time consuming, and frustrating. All in all, I made a 75% return on my original investment.

Hope ths Helps
