My daughter is just like me. I do not get sick often, but when I do, it is usually a doosie.
She was having trouble pooping for 3days. Was giving her apple juice and benefiber, and nothing was working. Well yesterday, she had a 103.2 temp, so off the ER we went. She has a history of seizures, and they just took her off her meds, so I was a little paranoid. Well good thing we went. She was so backed up, it put pressure, on her bladder, and she got an UTI. Poor kid is mireable. THe dam finally broke, but now she is on the potty constantly. Sorry for TMI
Thing,is, the kid really likes veggies. Loves, salad, cukes, carrots, tomatoes, asparagus, broccoli. So I really do not know why this happened all of sudden. We are getting some tests back tomorrow, and praying nothing else is going on. DOnna

was having similiar issues. She got really backed up and I had to take her in. She had 100.3 fever and they took xray. Told her to take Miralax and if that didn't help to come back. They also made appt with nutritionist. My daughter is very picky and also feels that alot of things hurt her stomach so she restricts her diet too much. She just will not listen to me or eat what I make her without a fight. This is not the first time we've been to dr for this problem and she's all agreeable in the office but once she gets home she's back to her old routine. Drives me crazy.

I sent my hubby to Dunkin Doughnuts, for a choclate donut, even with that, I have to keep asking her to take bites. NEver in a million, years, have had to plead with her to eat a chocolate doughnut.
