sweepstakes most everyday, online. I've been doing this since 2003. There are some nice prizes to be had, and I've won my share of stuff over the years...the best so far was a $10,000 Grand Prize from Glaxo-Smith Kline (I spent $6K of that on a complete bathroom remodel and laundry room addition). Like another poster stated -- you have to have patience, enter everyday, and have patience! LOL
Blogs are a waste of my time. For one thing, anyone can host a blog sweeps. However, unlike officially-sponsored sweeps, blog sweeps wins are not guaranteed, prizes can change, I am skeptical of the method of choosing winners, blog sweeps are a time-waster to enter everyday...most blog sweeps have too many restrictions and things you must do to enter. For someone who enters as many sweeps as I do, time is of the essence.

I also saw the show but I have such little time already, I'm wondering how much time would be wasted trying to win.. the odds and all that.. ALSO, I think creating a dummy email account just for doing sweeps would be better then letting all the junk stuff fill up in your normal email account..
A question here.. Do you have to pay taxes on EVERYTHING you win or just items that are worth so much? On that show they were getting piles of stuff every day.. do they have to claim it all?

I watched that show and they would go to the store and buy a cart full of products because there was a sweeps or inside box game, spend all that money and then go home, open up the boxes and this time, they didn't win a thing.. i'm sorry but this is just RIDICULOUS!! To me, doing sweeps and the like shouldn't have to cost a thing...
