OMG! The government is not only taking away from the poor, elderly & disabled but now they're proposing to take away from the service men & women who have risked their lives & already sacrificed so much?
This is all SO wrong! So when are the government officials going to start getting their own income, insurance benefits & retirement benefits cut? How many billions or trillions of dollars would that save our country's deficit???

Since this Country is in a really big mess. Why on earth do we continue to send Foreign Aid to other countries in the world? Do we ever get back the billions of dollars back from these countries. Probably not. What about our people in this Country, who are in much need of help for their families to survive every day? People are still losing their homes and jobs. Children go to bed hungry. Seniors can barely make it. Look at the Prescription prices on medications. Look at ALL the Homeless people living on streets, cars, etc. Sure I can go on and on, but will it ever change. Maybe, but way pass my time and probably yours.

We need to take care of our own 1st & then see about helping other countries. But it's bureaucratic & political back-scratching & we just can't afford it.
I know of people who travel outside of the U.S. & they have seen things going on that most of us in this country aren't aware of. W/out the risk of divulging TMI, I'll say this much: I understand people here wanting to help those in need & who are less fortunate. Just donate LOCALLY, whether it's food, clothing or money, the best thing is to make the donation to food pantries, the salvation army, thrift stores or another local charity. Make sure you know who is actually benefitting from those donations & that it's stays right here in our own country.

that our Government does not work for the American People! Our middle class is being destroyed becoming a third world country. The Ruling Elite/World Bankers are pulling the strings. We are the enslaved serfs. Nothing new as this has happened over and over throughout History. Be warned that we will be entering a very long period of Austerity. There will be food shortages/food riots. Get prepared by growing your own food, storing food, water, medical/health supplies, etc, etc.
