Stayed at La Quinta in San Francisco and although being low budget, it was clean and believe it or not, they had the best breakfast we've ever had at any hotel.
Hope the NYC one is good.

...always a clean decent room. We had a little joke about them ... LaQuinta is Spanish meaning next to Denny's - it seems just about where ever there is a LaQuinta there really is a Denny's next door Sandy

it's a wonderful value. Also if that hotel's booked, I've stayed at Distrikt which is a great hotel as well. 7|1|One thing about LaQunita's you may not know is they are ALL dog/pet friendly so if you or a loved one has allergy's it may not be the best place for you to stay.
