Hi. I'm looking to purchase a cricut for my daughter for her birthday for scrapbooking and also for her to make letters for her classroom - she's a teacher.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for and wanted to surprise her.
I thought I would look on craigslist for a used machine but what should I buy?
Isn't there a couple different types?
Do they really work well?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

The difference in expressions or personal?
Any info would be appreciated. Not sure what I'm buying - for a gift.

I have this one and it is wonderful Very easy to use and letters can be cut as small or large as needed. There are several cartridges available that are perfect for classroom use. The cartridges are expensive. I have picked up several at Big Lots and have found ebay to also have a lot of good deals on new cartridges as well.
