I have a vitamin D Deficiency, need some Iron, my blood sugar is a bit high.... but the tests could have been worse! Doctor said my right kidney is much larger than my left one... but that I dodged a biopsy of my kidney because my kidney numbers have dropped! He said that is great news!
He put me on Blood Pressure meds which I start in the morning because of my blood pressure constantly being a little high and said that the vitamin deficiancies can be handled with supplements... but the rest of my bloodwork that was off will probably correct itself with the CPAP Treatment I'm getting for my Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Who knew that sleep affected so much!
Also, I probably passed a few kidney stones that didn't show up on xrays or in the ultrasound... which would explain the horrible pain I was in for a couple of nights... the other pain in my side might just be another small stone... or it could just be scar tissue pulling. He didn't seem to think it was a big issue.
But it appears I don't have an autoimmune issue or cancer or anything worse! So I think this is the best news I've had in a while! And My daughter's finger was hurt earlier in the week at summer camp, they had us come back to check the ligaments in the finger... Dr says she is in good shape too!
Maybe this is where things turn around and I start to get some good news for a while
Now if we can just get my sons meds figured out so he doesn't keep getting kicked out of school things will be great! We started a new medication tonight, hoping it works!
Part of me wonders if Mom passed away when she did because it forced me to go to the doctor and take care of myself. I wouldn't have gotten this taken care of so quickly if I was caring for her and if I had waited much longer the damage to the kidney would have been much worse.
I have an appointment for my son with a neurologist on Thursday and I would love to get some definitive answers about whats going on with him. Keeping my fingers crossed that we find something that can be fixed quickly. All this guess work is frustrating. I would love for him to lead a normal life.

happens for a reason although we don't understand it at the time.
