I am diabetic and it has to do with the neropathy I have had for a few years. I am really working to keep the blood suger down. I am on a new med that seeems to be helping. I just don't know how long I will be layed up with this. I alway feel alot better knowing I have freinds here that will p[ray for me. I had surgery then a cast then a boot I was off my feet for months then I was allowed to walk with the boot then I got special shoes Then a year ago in April I had an out break in mt left foot They did not do surgery on that one I was not put in a cast either I went from haveing it wrapped to the boot then a C.R.o.w walker last July I was in that till June when they fitted me with new shoes expensive shoes I wore them for a couple days and it started to hurt found an issue with the left shoe had it fixed wore it a couple days and the same issue so they sent it back to the pkace that makes them I am waiting now almost a month for them I am going between the boot and an old pair of comfy sneakers I had but they don't offer much support so I have to limit walking I am still not allowed to walk long distances like wn and the suoer marhet If you have any questions lmk and I'll see if I can answer them 2|2|What!? From what I here it is very rare. I had never heard of it. I am very lucky to have a pototrist that is also a food surgen. He is very good and know right away what it was. I went to Er when it was swollen as big as a footbaall they sait it was cellulitis. I am doing everything they tell me to do. I do have diabetic shoes and see the dr every few months and told by both to call if every I see anythnig wrong with my feet. I am very lucky to have great DR. I am just so glad to here from someone else that has had it. Thank you so much for sharing you story with me. I will say a prayers for all the great ladys that helped me with this. thier approach is different and I can say at this point the right foot is much better than the left The first pair of shoes I got were just shoes that were ordered for me the newest pair were actually molded for mr that is why they were expenxive but at this point not worth the money if I can't wear he darn thins Good luck with your feet and make sure you check them everyday fr signs of [ressure wounds I had one on my left foot already and I also recently had a blister also check the insides of your shoes and the bottom of your socks as evenone tiny pebble or a piece of cat litter can irritate the bottoms of your feet
