I printed the 2 $2 co's and Winn Dixie has a deal this week...... b1g1 for 6.99 so I want to get them but I have no idea how to do it in the oven. Our grill is broke and we can't buy another one. I know I can find tons of info on the web but I was wondering if any of you have a special way of doing it so they turn out tender and flavorful. TY for your time ! :)

I cook the ribs in a pan with sides, like a cake pan, only bigger. I put down the non-stick foil with the dull side down. I sprinkle the ribs with onion salt and black pepper. I put in about 1 cup of water on top of the ribs and foil to keep them mosit. I bake about one hour at 350. I have an electric oven. I check the ribs to make sure the water hasn't dried up. I like to make sure the pork is well cooked.
After an hour, I switch the oven to broil. I put on my special barbecue sauce, very thick and broil until the sauce bubbles up and I like the ribs to have the ribs crispy. If you want them to be even all over, turn the pan around or move the rack of ribs. I use only baby back style. They come out delicious. Now I don't have a craving to go to Chili's. I like the baby back ribs that Tops market has, here in Rochester N.Y.

My sauce is:
1 1/2 Cups of Heinz ketchup
5 tbsp of brown sugar
2 squirts of lemon juice from plastic lemon I keep in fridge
1/8 cup of vinegar
1/16 cup of water

Sauce should be thick. If you like it thinner, add more water.

After cooking, the foil makes for easy clean up.

I do the same thing with chicken. I am handicapped and don't have a grill, but like the taste of grilled, barbecued chicken.
