They walked in area that had standing water from the irrigation/sprinklers, and were electrocuted.....they were best friends for years, and only 14 yrs old. so sad, and not one of the dangers I had thought of.

I was just talking about detassling corn with my mom on Monday. Telling her my oldest had talked about doing this in her teens, but I wouldn't let her. I thought they had to be at least 15 or 16. We were talking about why do they detassle corn in the first place, not quiet sure.
