Right now do have the windows open because it's 80 degrees now and no humidity. Suppose to humid the rest of the week. Hate this heat. Never gets this hot here in the East. Hate being indoors, just like winter. Doors and windows all closed up. What is August is going to be like?

I think the weather report on Sat. was a day late & a dollar short cuz this cooler, better air was supposed to move in late Sat. night/early yesterday morning. Didn't move in til sometime last night. But oh, I'm sure glad it finally did! Whew!
Supposed to be back to some warmer temps & higher humidity again tho for Weds. & Thurs. Hope that's all it's for cuz the high temps & heavy air has been a bit much. :(

gauge and it was 82, humidity 95, breathing became difficult. Fighting to breathe. Closed windows, turne AC on, laid on couch until it got comfortable, inside is now 77 degrees. This is such an unbearable summer. Can't go outside, can't sit outside. Lawn needs mowing, in no condition to do it. If it's like this the rest of the summer, my yard will be a jungle. I can see how it gets awfully hot in the south, but never like this in the East. We would only get a couple days of humid weather the last week of August. Not the whole summer. I think we all just lost summer this year. Never mind the lost week-end. It's the long, lost Summer. Hope winter makes up for it.

to get heart from beating so hard and to cool down some. It was very hot but no humidity. Suppose to get some rain tomorrow. I sure hope so. Lawns are starting to burn. But it's too hot to keep setting up and moving the sprinkler. Health first. Lawn second.
