This crappy humidity w/high dew pts. are pretty hard on people w/breathing problems & heart problems. As much as I don't like cold winters, at least I can breathe!
If you ladies have a dehumidifier, use it! And keep it on the same level of the house where you spend most of your time. If you don't have a dehumidifier, I highly recommend getting one. Air conditioning helps cool the air but it doesn't actually DEHUMIDIFY it, kwim? A dehumidifier will help SO much more. I learned this from a nurse when my dad was battling COPD, & it does make a big difference in the air inside.

I don't know if maybe they did for a little while during the night, but seems we got a light, short shower earlier this morning & it's back to being miserable. Supposed to maybe get a storm sometime this morning so am hoping that is what will move the heavy air out?
I just know that right now it is not what I understood it was to be today. :(
