If you do, boil a pot of water, dip tomato's in a couple at a time, just for about 30 seconds, and remove. Let cool a bit, and the skins come right off. Then chop coarsly, and put through food mill to remove seeds, and purees the tomato at the same time.

After that I can give recipes for marinara, meat sauce, or or how to make your own meatballs, with sauce. LMK Donna

We have always just used the one from the old reliable Betty Crocker ring binder cookbook. I have about 5 different vintages of the same cookbook and they are all about the same...spices vary slightly since peoples "tastes" changed over the years.

down here in GA..they want your kid for produce so I can't grow these enough for nuttin..Have to reply on canned tomatoes

I would put around 10 cloves..Can't cook without it

Amount would basically be what ever the tomatoes yeild.
