Might want to start stocking up on a/c, dehumidifiers & plenty of cold drinks/water & food, cuz the HOT miserable temps we're having here in the midwest will be moving into your neck of the woods in another day or 2....

:) 4|2|The 10 day forecast I looked at for my area says the temps wont come down a whole lot at all....still 86-90 all of next week to...and if there's humidity, then there wont be any difference really..my poor AC has literally run all day, and it wont hold the temp I have it set at....I have all the ceiling fans going which helps as long as your sitting right under one, lol.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:34:06|07/19/2011|

But not til sometime Thurs. The temps themselves may not go down a whole lot but it's supposed to lower the humidity & those stifling dew pts. so the air isn't so heavy & will be more breathable/bearable.
I don't mind 90° as long as I can breathe out there. Ooof!
Everyone here has been worried about any possible power outages, especially if it storms, as so many a/c's & fans have to keep going almost continually. I have my dehumidifier going in the basement, my central air going & an oscillating fan to help keep the cool air circulating. It's just an awful lot to have running so I'm scared to death of what my elect. bill is going to be. :( There isn't even a cool-down period at night.
