Here is all you'll need to make any kind of fruit freezer jam (peach, strawberry, grape, berry, etc)
1 (1 5/8 ounce) envelope ball fruit jell freezer jam pectin or you can use the Suregel brand....whatever brand you want, just make sure it's the FREEZER type pectin.
1 1/2 cups sugar (you can go a little less if you want to cut down on the sugar, maybe 1 1/4 cups instead)
4 cups crushed raspberries--leave some of the peices nice and chunky to have those delicious bits in the jam :)
Combine freezer jam pectin and sugar in a large bowl, stirring until well blended.
Add crushed raspberries, stirring to combine.
Continue stirring mixture for 3 minutes.
Pour jam into clean jars or freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch head space. (my mom used to use plastic containers, she was always leary of the glass in the freezer).
Let stand until thickened, about 30 minutes. Label jars.
You can either serve immediately, refrigerate up to three weeks or freeze up to one year.

ETA: this works best with pulpy fruits, not so well with apple, pear, etc as they tend to be too mushy and end up being smooth and thinner. Rhubarb strawberry is terrific!!

Haven't had one of those good home-made jams in quite awhile. Thank goodness there's still raspberries cuz the elderberries about almost non-existent anymore. Poo!
