Just when I thought i've heard it all in the way of excuses from employees at the check out.. I went to use my $5/5 Kelloggs coupon and it "BEEPED"... She told me that since it beeped, she couldn't use it. WHY? I have 5 boxes.. Well, she said, if it beeps, its no good.. OH BOY.. no way was I going to let her get away with that... I had her call the manager and the manager told me the same thing.. I told her well, I know what the problem is.. My printer was running out of ink and the code didn't print very clear so that's why it's not scanning... I told her just to enter the number manually.. She told me she couldn't do that.. Oh bull-crap I said.. Every other store can manually punch in amts on coupons... The line was getting longer behind me, my husband's patience went out the door long before that, the man behind me started asking everyone if they've seen that darned "Extreme Couponing" show.. The manager finally gave me the $5 off by MANUALLY punching in the amount... CRIMINY!!!!!!!!

4|1|I havent used the two I printed yet (will do this week), but one reason it might have beeped is because of the high value or the need to buy 5 to use the coupon (this alerts the cashier to double check, and verify that the $5 amount is correct).....if the poor print quality was to blame it probably wouldnt have scanned at all, not even beeped.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|14:04:35|07/14/2011|

Then she got suspicious of me.. I had to hold up every item she had run through so she could compare the coupon with the item. I never try to cheat and this just makes me feel like I should be handcuffed or something.
