Goodwill is my favorite thrift store for kids clothing! I only buy things that look like new from there and it's hit or miss, you have to keep going back.... but in the last 2 days I have found:

All of the above items were like new and I paid about $25 for all of it! Amazing! Living in Florida the kids go through swimsuits like mad and we wear shorts pretty much year round, just wish I could find my daughter some more swim suits! Or K-mart needs to have their $1.99 sale on the again! LOL Also, I put all the larger sizes in a "big boy" or "big girl" box in the garage... so when the kids are getting ready in the morning and tell me that nothing fits... I grab out the big boy or girl box and they find clothes! LOL Saves us a fortune on new clothing all the time! Our Goodwill is high, unfortunately. There is a BuyRight Thrift Store that I try to go to every weekend. They are awesome! I'm telling you, I've found tons of very nice things for me and my older daughter. Gap skirts 2.99, BeautiFeel shoes (made in Isreal and about 250.00) brand new for 6.99!!! Guess purses 2.99. I am so hooked on that thrift store!
Unfortunately I don't usually find good used kids clothes. I usually just wait til TCP or Gymboree has a 75% off sale at the mall.

my daughter won't wear anything from there! Not sure why! I've bought tons from there and she never touches any of it!
But I find Abercrombie, Old Navy, Gap, etc at the thrift store here. Lots of great stuff at garage sales and Lots of great stuff at a used childrens clothing store.
I just brought some stuff to the children's place today... some little people sets from when my kids were little (6-7 years ago) and they gave me $63.00 for it all! So I then can get clothing for my kids with it!

They give you jack for your stuff. Once I took a bunch of stuff over there, including toys and they wanted to buy everything but would only offer $6! I said no way and went to cart it all back to the car. A guy followed me outside and wanted a couple of the toys and gave me $10 for them. I thought that was funny!
ETA: I kinda worded the subject line wrong. The one in our previous city was bad but the one here in our new city seems different. I haven't tried to sell anything there yet.

They always give me a ton for my clothes and toys and have the nicest clothing really cheap! They said that they put everything into their computer and the computer tells them how much to offer for each piece.... so sounds like they were trying to rip you off! Probably a poorly managed one.
In fact, Once upon a child is where I went today... and last weekend... and the weekend before...
