my youngest is gone for the week. This is the first time she has every been away. With my oldest being 28, and more in the middle, this is the first time in 28 years we have had a whole week withought someone here.

in the heat, (that was probably not real smart,) but we both survived and plan to go farther next time. Went to the dirt track races Friday night, been out to dinner a couple times. It is much cheaper with just two. This empty nest thing might not be so bad, but it will be over soon.

My oldest is 14 so we are able to leave her home to watch the 13 and 6 year olds so we can go to dinner. My husband swears he won't take them all out to dinner anymore since all they do is complain or bicker, or just would rather be home playin' games or watching a movie! With three all different ages and temperments its hard to please everyone or at least not hear complainin' from someone. We're working on it, but we have two teens and they are in their 'terrible teens' age ((rolls eyes))! Will be glad when this stage passes!
