1|1|Mix up some fabric softener liquid and water in a spray bottle....maybe 1/4 c of softener in a quart spray bottle then fill with water.....spray it on the wallpaper border, let set for about 15 mins, then use a plastic scraper, like the ones for dishes or an old credit card to loosen and remove the border.  Then wash the area with a mild soapy water solution, may have to wash a couple times to get rid of the glue residue.    You will probably still have to paint the wall where it was to match the rest of the wall.
