She has pain in her back and went to the doctor. He took X-rays and now is sending her to a cancer specialist. Given the location and her fight with breast cancer a couple of years ago, I'm sure this seems likely to be a reoccurence of cancer to her. I talked to her today and she was close to tears several times. Prayers for peace of mind, and for it to not be cancer.

She already had an x-ray done and is taking it with her to the cancer specialist, so maybe she'll at least get some preliminary info then. I imagine the waiting for her is excruciating though.
I don't get a good feeling about this at all because of the location of her pain. It's under her arm towards her back...like right behind the breast area. :(

My mom, I feel so bad for her. She lost a daughter to cancer just a few short years ago and now she's got to be fighting it. She's not in good health to begin with - Parkinson's and Osteoporosis among other things - I don't think her body could take more chemo.
As for me, I'm okay. I've learned that there's no use worrying about something until there's something to worry about - in other words, I'm not going to assume anything bad until we hear what the doctor has to say.
Thanks for the continued prayers though.

My mom has cancer in her spine. I don't know too much right now - heading over to talk to her in a minute.
