THANKS!! 4|1|Potato sack races, the one with the egg on spoons....|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|19:36:31|06/17/2011|
water balloons are always good. A pinata works outside. I'll try and think of more games. I don't know the ages. Musical chairs can be done outside if you have enough chairs outside and can bring music out. 5|2|buckets and cups of water...|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|19:37:44|06/17/2011|
you put the bucket on one side and use cups of water and run back and forth and fill it until the bucket is full. Can do teams really easily. Kids always like messy games 6|3|thanks bunches i like the sack race and saw one for bean bag toss using a sandbucket and balls but going to use bean bags i have those LOL|lydzkydz|lydzmcss@yahoo.com|20:26:26|06/17/2011|

THANKS!! 7|4|what about three legged races? Remember those as a kid....|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|21:35:51|06/17/2011|
you tie the two legs together and they have to work with only 3 legs. That would be pretty easy to do, as long as whatever tie you use is stretchy and won't hurt them of course. 8|1|this one looks fun too, it's a dress up relay race.|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|21:38:00|06/17/2011|

10|1|Red Light, Green Light... this looks fun too.,,|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|21:41:43|06/17/2011|
2. Red Light, Green Light
This is a simple and fun outdoor game that doesn’t require any setup or accessories. It’s great for a small or larger group of kids.
How to play: One person is designated as the "stoplight." The stoplight stand with his back toward the others. The rest of the players stand about 15 to 20 feet away from him.
The stoplight calls out "green light!" which signals the players to begin moving toward him. Then the stoplight yells, "red light!" and turns around. If any player is caught moving when the stoplight turns around, that player is out.
The game is over if all the players are out before anyone reaches the stoplight or if someone tags the stoplight. If a player reaches the stoplight, that person gets to be the stoplight in the next game.

11|1|Name-it ball|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|21:43:05|06/17/2011|
Name-It Ball. Have players form a circle. Give one player a rubber ball. That player selects a category, such as "candy bars." He or she then bounces the ball to another player in the circle, who must catch the ball, state an item from the category, such as "Snickers," and keep the ball moving to the next player. If the player can't name an item, holds the ball too long, or repeats an item, he or she is out.

12|1|Pick Pocket Tag|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|21:44:15|06/17/2011|
Pick Pocket Tag. Put a strip of cloth in each player's back pocket. Have the players try to grab each other's strips without having their own strip taken. The player with the most cloth strips wins the game.

my son's birthday is next month, so they might come in handy for me as well! I'll probably go to the dollar store to get little prizes for each of the games if he decides to have a birthday party.
